BEAR & CARIBOU
This is a package hunt, and the following is included in the price.
5 days of hunting for up to 2 Alaskan Barren Ground Caribou 1 Bull and 1 cow from the Mulchatna Herd, one of the largest of all Caribou species,
fully outfitted and semi-guided. Alaskan Hunting License and tags for 2 Caribou second tag can also be used for wolf or wolverine!!
Hunters need to be in good physical condition for this is a remote drop camp and hiking and backpacking is a must.
Suggested Packing list:
All hunters will need to bring: Weapon of choice bow or rifle, ammo, knife, good heavy frame back pack, good spotting optics, as well as raingear, waterproof hiking boots and stocking type wading apparel or hip waders for crossing streams, etc. Weather can range from freezing cold to mid 70’s this time of year and rain storms are quite common so be prepared. Good warm sleeping bag, (air mattress or pad optional) along with clothing and personal toiletries, medications, etc. Pack light, 3 changes of clothes, warm coat or coveralls to protect from the wind and rain, wear all you can going in!! Not included:
Shipping of Horns and extra luggage is not included in the cost and will be the responsibility of each hunter, so bring cash , credit card to pay for extra shipping charges that may be incurred. Most airlines usually allow 2 check on and 1-2 carry on items per person and have weight limits of 50-70lbs.
Tips for the Bush pilot and Hunting Guide are not included, as well there maybe additional cost for bush plane cost to move to other hunting areas.
Special note: If the weather gets bad you maybe in the bush or in Iliamna additional days. There will be extra cost for lodging, bush plane costs till the weather clears. You will need additional cash for these possible problems.
All hunters must be paid in full prior to July 1st and a 50% minimum non-refundable deposit is due immediately to reserve a spot.

MMK Outfitters offers some of the finest Black Bear hunting Canada has to offer. We hunt some of the most productive and least pressured zones in New Brunswick. Bears range in size up to 600+ lbs. Last season we took a few over 400lbs!
