Texas Kudu Hunting

Kudu


A large antelope know as the grey ghost both in Africa and Texas, is gray to reddish-brown, with white stripes. The horns (males only) are long growing upward in 2-3 open spirals. Females are similar but hornless. Weight 400-650 pounds for big mature males.

Method of Hunting Kudu

Most common is safari style, also spot and stalk, and blind hunting.

Best Time of Year to Hunt Kudu

With Kudu being a horned animal they can be hunted year round. There are no seasonal restrictions on hunting Kudu in Texas.
