The Red Sheep is a hybrid between the Armenian Mouflon and the Trans-Caspian Urial. The general coloration is light brown or tan, with a saddle patch. Females are smaller than males and may or may not have horns.

Method of Hunting Red Sheep

Most common is safari style, also spot and stalk, and blind hunting.
Type of hunting: Rifle, Bow, Handgun, or Muzzleloader

Best Time of Year to Hunt Red Sheep

With Red Sheep being a horned animal they can be hunted year round. There are no seasonal restrictions on hunting Red Sheep in Texas.
