Reddish-brown in summer, turning darker and grayer in winter. In mature stags the antlers are large and heavy, with at least five points to a side, including the tip of the main beam, other tines are usually in a group near the beam tip, commonly forming a crown. Some outstanding antlers may have as many as 20 points in total, or even more.

Best Time of the Year for Hunting Red Deer:

With Red deer being an antlered animal, they are best hunted during the fall; September - February. Rut Starts around the end of September - mid October.

Booking a Hunt Date:
Once you decide you would like to book a hunt, we will send you a hunting contract that will have all of the details for the hunt with "No Hidden Fees". There will be a 50% deposit required to lock in your hunt date.
