Reddish-brown in summer, turning darker and grayer in winter. In mature stags the antlers are large and heavy, with at least five points to a side, including the tip of the main beam, other tines are usually in a group near the beam tip, commonly forming a crown. Some outstanding antlers may have as many as 20 points in total, or even more.

Method of Hunting Red Deer

Most common is safari style, also spot and stalk, and blind hunting.
Type of hunting: Rifle, Bow, Handgun, or Muzzleloader

Best Time of Year to Hunt Red Deer

With Red deer being a Antlered animal they are best hunted during the fall September - February. Rut Starts around the end of September -mid October.

Once you decide you would like to book a hunt we will send you a hunting contract that will have all of the details for the hunt "No Hidden Fees". There will be a 50% deposit required to lock in your hunt date.
